9th annual Community Carnival

The phrase you always read alongside the name Bethany Church of God is: “Reaching Heaven - Touching Earth.” Members of Bethany along with many generous donors put these words into action on Saturday, October 10 2009.

The 9th Annual Bethany Community Carnival hosted over 500 children and adults for a free family fun day. Children were bouncing in inflatable houses, scrambling through large inflatable obstacle courses and taking train rides.

The evening featured special guest, Christian country music singer Dennis Wilson who blessed the community with his hit song, “Castles in the Sand”. The carnival ended with prayer and praise to God for the miracle of a dry day and thanks for allowing the church to share God’s love and His Word with the Bethany community.
